IMO, The woke/"climate change" agenda (It's one and the same, I believe) has roots in the "population bomb" hysteria fomented by Paul Erlich in the early seventies (or maybe starting in late sixties?).
I remember him speaking to huge crowds around the country. The unspoken subtext (or maybe some people did say it out loud. I can't recall) was that there are just too many people and they have to die
The other thread is the Club of Rome and its anti-enlightenment agenda.
Together these ideas amount to halting the progress mankind has made since casting off feudalism and dragging us back to serfdom.
Great editorial. I maintain that MAGA is a return of the Tea Party only this time with a leader, flawed as he may be. But the forces that want a responsive, responsible government are still there. We really don't want gifts from the government but it should enforce the laws and secure the nation. It should ensure citizens rights, equally under the law. Congress shouldn't be a greed factory for permanent sinecure.
Cheney should name names rather than make up fake stories like the Democrats.
I'll point out, the failure of the MSM to reveal who the anonymous sources they relied upon, to source fakes stories about Trump, tells us that part of the MSM is colluding with corrupt government officials to defraud the public about the truth, for political purposes. So, they put their political ends before seeking a reputation as being honest news; thus, are just propaganda and bird cage lining.
As a US military veteran, I am absolutely opposed to sending US men and women, as well as our tax money, to the Ukraine or anywhere else that is not a true and significant threat to us. And Congress should decide and stop these unconstitutional executive order quasi wars. Finally, if you want wars, have the integrity to go yourself and bring your kids. Bunch of all talk and no action cowards.
To my mind, appearances would suggest that the primary reason that US officials keep shoveling money into Ukraine is to protect the Zelensky-provided cash cow, and the identity, of some highly-placed interested parties.
If you think economic stagnation, inflation, crime the storm clouds of war are bad now...JUST WAIT.....If the Democrats retain their majorites, prepare for a serious AMERICAN DECLINE
Liz Cheney is a lot like her daddy, and we don't like her either.
What does "climate change" even mean?
Gene, as usual, you are a crack up. Or is it a crack head?
Mostly that Oligarchs and their communist enablers get rich and the rest of us eat bugs until we die.

It means shut up and eat your crickets, peon.

Global warming policies akin to making sacrifices to an angry sun god... Great illustration!
